Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and AOS Construction Software LLC ("we", "us") governing your use of Team Tasks ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and represent that you may do so.

1. The Service

Team Tasks provides shared boards, assignments, comments, and related collaboration features layered on top of Google Tasks, with two-way synchronization to your Google account. The Service is currently offered in beta: features may change, be added, or be removed as the product matures.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under your account. Workspace owners and admins control who is invited to their workspace and what roles members hold. You must provide accurate information and keep your Google account secure.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• Each workspace starts with a 14-day free trial with all features and unlimited seats. No credit card is required to start.
• After the trial, paid workspaces are billed $1 per member per month with a 10-seat minimum (so a workspace is at least $10/month). Seat counts adjust and prorate automatically as members join and leave.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and amounts already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

4. Your content

You own the content you put into the Service — tasks, comments, boards, and files of your workspace ("Customer Content"). You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to operate and support the Service. Your tasks also remain in your own Google account through synchronization; ending your use of the Service never removes them from Google.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including breaking the law, sending spam through workspace invitations or email-to-task addresses, attempting to access another tenant's data, probing or circumventing security controls, reselling the Service, or placing unreasonable load on it or on the Google APIs it uses.

6. Google services

The Service depends on Google APIs and your grant of access to your Google account, which you may revoke at any time in your Google account settings. Your use of Google products remains governed by Google's own terms. Team Tasks is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google; Google Tasks and Google Calendar are trademarks of Google LLC. Our handling of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy, including compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy's Limited Use requirements.

7. Our intellectual property

We own the Service, its software, and its branding. These terms grant you no rights to them except the right to use the Service while these terms are in effect.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your workspaces at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service or other users, and will use reasonable efforts to warn you first where practical. Sections 4 and 9–11 survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that synchronization with third-party services will always be available — Google's APIs are outside our control. During beta this disclaimer applies with particular force.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $50 if you have paid nothing).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we'll post changes here and update the date above, and will give notice in the app or by email for material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
